Framing information

My acrylics and oils are mostly painted on box canvas or canvas board.  Box canvas can be hung directly onto the wall with minimal effort. Canvas board need a hanging method and come framed. Frames are hand-made  using recycled wood cut out of old joists and then individually made-to-measure and finished with either a weathered, white lime wax look (white tone) or a distressed wax finish look (wood tone). 

Ink-Wash Off paintings are painted on hand-made cotton rag paper and mounted on card. These paintings should be framed either professionally who incorporate and protect the painting in various levels of mounts, finished by glass or you can frame it yourself in a glass clip-frame. These do not come framed as the glass would not survive any delivery journey.
